Slowly. Weather hasn’t helped and I’ve been going slow. Still taking off body panels. I have it on jack stands now and am stripping it down.

Taking off body panels on this car is exceptionally easy, so I should be done by now. I may finish this weekend.

I have the rear wings removed and the tail lights removed from them, so they’re ready for sandblasting and any repairs necessary.

The doors should strip down easily.

The interior will come out.

The hood and front fenders should come off easily, too.

All of that can be done in a busy weekend provided it doesn’t rain heavily.

I bought a cheap welding rig and have been experimenting on the lawn mower since it has a broken handle. I need to purchase an angle grinder so I can sand down/clean surfaces and cut out the rust so I can get started on the car.

The exterior body panels will have to go to a workshop where they can be properly stripped down and hopefully repainted; some may need repairs, but I hope not. I’ll have a professional do that. The welding I’ll do is stuff most people can’t see, under the car, floor boards, door jambs, etc.
